The mix of strategy and resource management is really satisfying, and I love the cute art style. It’s simple but offers enough depth to keep you engaged.

killed by bad draws at 202 pop. very fun I just wish I knew that tavern's discard was useful and not a downside of the card, would've stopped the bad draws from ever happening.
This "demo" version is actually more fun than the full Steam version, which is slightly irritating. Why are "streets" and "fences"? I wanted to throw some money at the developers, because I have derived a lot of joy from this, but I'd hoped the downloadable version would be castle+, not something else entirely.
Stopping mid play-through (at 494 population, highest I've ever gotten so far!) because I have to commend this game. I haven't been this invested in a game in a long time. It was frustrating at first but once I got the hang of it it's been so fun to try to organize things early game so that the island looks pretty late game
Love the game <3 Was reading the comments about luck and being blocked by a full hand, and while I haven't run into that myself yet, I would suggest a simple fix/workaround would be to add the ability to just discard cards?
Not getting handclogged seems to be part of the challenge. Could see discarding as part of a relaxed mode though. Spoilers: You can get the tavern which discards your hand and draws a new hand once you get a full hops field and reap it with a mill.
I Love the game and the over all idea of it, but the way it can block your progress can feel utterly unfair. Here I am, I have coins, I have space, I have a deck, it is going great... until I draw quarry after quarry after lumberjack, and not being able to get rid of them killed my game. If those werent restricted to only being set besides a tree or rock I could have kept playing, and that feels unfair. Some touch ups could make this a game I could spend hours on, the art and feeling of it is very nice. I really hope dev updates it cause I would love to keep playing, but as it plays now it can be too frustrating.
There are several, but the general one is when you can no longer keep playing. This is because you are out of playable cards in hand and can't draw: there are no cards to draw, or you are out of gold, or your hand is full, and your hand is either empty or all the cards in it are unplayable (because there are no eligible tiles).
The only fault I can find is that you need for piers to combine into something bigger (like a port) after you have a certain number (like the houses or fields but chaning the graphic to be a dockside with one or two piers or something!)... they get so messy and you need so many!
I finally beat it after 2 days and playing at work Lol. I lost at 420 population ;) Though, after I won, I could no longer get the stone houses. No matter what I did.
Reached 500 population, thought that's a good place to stop. Damn this game is gripping! Was getting quite laggy towards the end, especially when placing new island tiles. Deck management is quite tricky, but once I got the hang of it it felt like I could keep going forever without issues, and was really fun to figure out. Really neat little game!
I don't know how to do a little gif like the person with the 1474 population, but here's a fairly decent shot of my island layout on my highest yet score! The never-ending chain of quarries really got me in the end
Really cool, chill strategy (and luck-based) game. Will be buying when it comes out. Wish there was a way to get rid of cards besides taverns though. My deck keeps getting WAY too big lol. Also wish I could choose between the two options some cards can give instead of a random 50/50 chance.
Dangit no android support. I so wanted to try it. Curses for buying a android tablet (it was I could afford). Will there be android support playability soon?

Omg i did it.. tots didn't take me months lol, love how you cant even see half the kingdom

so sad it just ends here :(

I DID IT HELL YEAH
the game is amazing i kept playing on the Browser till my game laged and crashed at this stage of the game
just go to the discord server if you really need help but you can just check the milestones anyway
womp womp thats the point bro your supposed to figure it out the game rules dont just get handed to you
Lose 5 rounds in a row because you only got lumber cards and no trees and then come back to me
also im playing again so maybe i dont hate it that much
i hate this game and i dont understand it

made it to 1028 and stopped because I had 374 cards and the game was getting laggy lol
有趣的遊戲這是我迄今為止的最高分。仍在進行中
I want to retract my previous statement about annoying rng. This is a very strict resource management game. I no longer struggle with 30-40 pop.
effectively beat the game however I am very busy and had to leave before sifting through 90 plus cards looking for castle parts
I understand it now

The luck based aspect is very annoying, I wish I could choose what cards I get instead of rng. There is little strategy
im not sure how to get past 40 population. What am I doing wrong?
Completed a challenge of building 3-wide world and making castle Lv.4. That was awesome <3
really good game, although really hard to get castle to form fully and I got to 3/4 of making it😭
all because of the mills
great game tho
finally beat it!
Played it several times. I'm constantly stuck around 110-130 population
I dont understand what the lose condition is.

really enjoyed it
i lost winning XDDDDD
i only got lumberyards XDDDDD
I really like the game, but I'm on chromebook and after I've equiped a card I can't cancel it? Does anyone know what key to click or what to do?
Hey, you can use Esc or Right Click to cancel
thank you, I'll try that
did it work cuz im on chrome?

A walkthrough - completing the castle
Great game! I'll be happy to pay 10 bucks (at least) for final version!

Made it to 450 today before my hand was full of Mills XD
I loved this game so much. I wish I was able to make it past 100 population but RNG was not my friend

This is the biggest flex I have ever seen.
WOW!!!
